F.I.T.E is extremely happy to announce that the forum has successfully achieved the status of a legally registered trade union in Maharashtra. We recognize this as a significant moment in the journey to collectivize and represent rights of IT workers in India.
We express our gratitude to the trade unions that have laid the ground for such initiatives and have offered their support and solidarity. We look forward to continuing to work with our allies in the future and aim to strength this solidarity.
F.I.T.E is a collective that works across regions of the country and is in the process of consolidating its efforts. We thank our members and leadership teams and look forward to being registered in multiple states in the near future.
F.I.T.E continues to be a forum for IT employees run by I.T employees. The I.T industry for too long has not had an official body representing the rights and interests of the employees. We remain committed to empowering and supporting employees who currently are at risk of being forced to resign and are working under increasingly stressful conditions.
Finally, we would like to extend our thanks to members of the press for their support. It is extremely crucial to draw attention and expose the darker side of this industry because creates public debate and awareness. We see the role of the media plays are being very important and appreciate the support employees receive.
